Visit to Tongging and Sipiso-piso waterfalls - North Sumatera

This is story of our visit to Tongging village. 
Tongging village was popular as a tourist destination in the side of Toba lake, a giant lake with the size of 3,000 kilometres square ! Tongging present amazing natural views.



We were stayed at Anugerah hotel, the new hotel there. Its take about 45 minutes from Kabanjahe city by car, capital of Tanah Karo. Toba lake itself sorrounded by 4 district of North Sumatera.

People's transportation around the lake

Close to Tongging vilage there was Sipiso-piso waterfalls, which can be reach by walk down about 1 km from Penatapan Tongging. It was a hard walk because we should walk down to reach bottom of waterfalls. The view from there was amazing and gives a deep feeling. Height of the waterfalls is about 130 metres !
